 | An aura of confidence surrounds Chariesse that belies her youth. With ten years as a professional model and actress, a black belt in Tae Kwon Do, print and catalog work, she defines the "hip" in urban hip hop with a look that is taut and muscular at the same time very feminine. |
| Chariesse finds it difficult to recall low points in her career. High points keep coming. Shooting is scheduled to start July 15 on Cantebury Films' Devil in the Dark. Producer Charles Hopkins wrote the Jack Rooney (Natural Born Killers) directed film, and the directory of photography is Neil Fredericks from The Blair Witch Project. Chariesse also is one of the feature models in the Ujena/Musclemag shoot scheduled for early August. |  |
 | One of her favorite scary movies: The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Chariesse recalls that her father took her and her brothers to see it at a drive-in theater. She says he stopped the car, reached out for the speaker, and started shaking and jumping like something -- or someone -- was killing him. Chariesse screamed, jumped out of the car, and hid in the concession stand, sure that Leatherface had killed her father. |
